APP PRIVACY POLICY

We are committed to protecting the privacy of your data. Pronk Technologies is not in the business of selling or renting your information.

For the purpose of improving our App, we allow you to send us log information.   Also, the App will store reports and other data on your device for later reference by you.

In the log, we collect the following information:

• All data on the screen, including:
• Report header
• Facility
• Technician Name
• Device Under Test Identification (DUT ID)
• Equipment model, S/N, and software revision
• Test results
• Notes added to reports
• Any message included in emails and email addresses used
• Time of all activities on App, including switching away from and back to the app
• Name, type, and iOS version of the device that the App is installed on
• Battery level and low power status of device
• A subset of Bluetooth device names seen by the App (mostly other Pronk units), and signal strength of these.

All log information will be used strictly for technical support and not used for any other purpose.

We also request the following capabilities:

• Bluetooth peripheral (“nearby devices”) — to connect to Pronk integrated devices to our apps and is never used to access your location.
• Background execution — to monitor Pronk integrated devices while using another app.
• Camera — to scan barcodes/QR codes and to capture images into electronic reports.
• Access to Photos – to allow images to be added to PDF reports.  Note: if you choose access to only “selected photos”, but do not select any photos, the App will ONLY be able to access photos that it has created.
• Access Local Network – to support operation of Bluetooth devices, and to allow access to the internet for tutorials, help, etc.
• Location – On some older devices, this permission was required to use Bluetooth Low Energy peripherals.

3^rd Party Services: We allow you to share reports to “cloud” services such as Dropbox and Microsoft OneDrive, and to share reports with other apps.   These services and apps have their own privacy policies.

Privacy considerations for Pronk Checklist Service:   For users who have purchased or choose to use the free trial of the Pronk Checklist Service, note the following:

·         Email addresses are used to identify users.

·         Users can choose to give feedback for checklists, which is sent to Pronk engineering and checklist developers.

·         Usage of checklists is tracked by the app and sent to Pronk for data analysis.

·         A device fingerprint is recorded by the app for license tracking, and forwarded to Pronk.  By its nature, this cannot be used to track outside of the Mobilize app.
